Wolves have stirred the imagination of mankind long before our ability to capture them on film. Today, they are an iconic image sought after in a variety of media roles. However, having a real wolf on-set can have its drawbacks! Our positively-trained Wolf-look-alike dogs provide the perfect alternative! Here’s a few reasons why…
- There are welfare considerations to using wild animals in acting roles. Our domestic dogs are family pets when not working, ensuring they are confident and comfortable functioning in ‘human society’.
- They have also been carefully bred for their naturally confident and friendly temperaments.
- As our wolf-look-alikes are domestic dogs, they need no special licences, nor require extra health and safety precautions. They can perform in public, and come into contact with actors and models more safely that real wolves. This allows for greater flexibility for your shoot – and, of course, for reduced costings!
